THE DISCIPLINES

SPORTS RULES

The competitions are organised as part of the International Bar Association Games and participants will be admitted to take part in the events on condition that they meet the general registration requirements of the Games. Any participant in an event will need to present documents attesting that they are properly registered for the event, their identity and the corresponding accreditation, and, for the French participants, their certificate of membership of the FFSE (French Federation of Corporate Sport).

Barring special provisions, the rules of the International Federation of each sport are applied by the organising committee and by the referees/judges.

A committee composed of the event director and an official from the French Federation of Corporate Sport (FFSE) will be responsible for managing all disputes that may arise on the day of the event and will take any decisions accordingly.

For team events, each team must designate a person in charge (captain, coach) who must always be present during the match and will be the only person allowed to discuss with the referees and the organising committee.

In case of force majeure, only the organising committee for the International Bar Association Games can take the decision, after consulting with the event director, to modify the organisation of a tournament and its rules.

To facilitate the congenial nature of the Games, were a team not to have a sufficient number of substitutes on the day of the event, an injured player may be replaced by a player from another team (from the same club or not). However, this substitute must be authorised by the person in charge of the opposing team and by the person in charge of the team from which the player comes. Any such decisions will be taken in the presence of an official for the event, in order to avoid possible post-match challenges.

For reasons of sport fairness, the match in which the external substitute has participated will necessarily be lost (a score equivalent to a forfeit).

For any match played without an external substitute, the score will be endorsed even in the event of a subsequent general forfeit by one of the teams.

The participants must be present on the site at the latest 45 minutes before the beginning of their first event. The participant is forfeited from entry if they are not present at the time indicated on the schedule, however this forfeit does not disqualify them for the other scheduled events for which they are registered.

Each non-French participant must have taken out an individual accident and repatriation insurance policy for this event.

The balls and shuttlecocks for the matches are provided by the organisation. The teams must have their own balls and shuttlecocks for the warm-up sessions.

A detailed final schedule of the competitions will be sent out after the closing of the registrations.
